Pilates is a system of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates and the
original name of this system is "controlology".
This is a method of physical exercise that aims to stretch, develop
muscles and balance the whole body. Pilates exercises focus on body
symmetry, breath control, abdominal strength, stabilization of the
spine, pelvis and shoulders, joint flexibility and mobility, and promote
healthy and strong musculature by utilizing a full range of motion.
